The Winter 2017 FujiTV human comedy drama Daibinbou follows Nanakusa Yuzuko, a struggling single mother who faces sudden adversity when her employer, the human resources company Dimensions Of Humanity (DOH), declares bankruptcy. Left in a difficult financial position, Yuzuko decides to fight back against the irrationalities of money, power, and love. She teams up with her buddy Kakihara Shinichi, an elite lawyer, and Kase Haruki, a street-smart and capable salesman from DOH who understands the dark sides of human nature. Together with Kogure Yuuto, a hardworking newbie lawyer at Kakihara's firm, they investigate the mysterious circumstances behind the company's collapse.
