Description:

In 1970s Korea, a time when both art and dreams faced stringent censorship, a film director, initially celebrated for his debut but now lambasted as a specialist in "trashy dramas," yearns to craft a true masterpiece. After completing his latest feature, "Cobweb," he is haunted by intense, vivid dreams depicting a groundbreaking, alternative ending for his film. Convinced that shooting these new scenes in just two additional days will transform his work into a cinematic triumph, he embarks on a desperate mission to make it happen.

However, his ambitious vision collides with harsh reality. The rewritten script is promptly rejected by censors, his actors struggle to comprehend the radical changes, and production is plagued by a tangled schedule and fierce opposition from his producer. Battling these relentless obstacles and feeling on the brink of madness, the director fiercely pushes on, driven by the profound belief that altering the ending is his sole path to achieving artistic greatness.
