Jung Ju is adrift in a life consumed by the profound grief of losing her son to heart disease twelve years prior. Her stagnant world is suddenly disrupted by the arrival of Min Gu, a young man recently released from prison, who begins working at her company.

Min Gu’s shabby appearance and scarred face immediately trigger a torrent of long-buried memories within Jung Ju, events she had consciously suppressed for over a decade. His presence forces her to confront fragments of a past she thought was forgotten. As Min Gu inadvertently unearths these painful recollections, Jung Ju is compelled to re-examine the circumstances surrounding her son's death. This unexpected encounter thrusts her into a challenging journey of emotional confrontation, where she must piece together a hidden history and ultimately find a way to reconcile with the truth, paving a path towards genuine healing and resolution.
