Chihayafuru Live Action is a captivating drama that follows the journey of Chihaya Ayase. When she was in the sixth grade of elementary school, Chihaya met Arata Wataya, a transfer student from Fukui Prefecture. Through Arata, Chihaya and her childhood friend, Taichi Mashima, discovered the passionate world of the traditional card game karuta, forming an unbreakable bond. Four years later, Chihaya has grown into a high school student. However, she is heartbroken to learn that Arata, who moved back to Fukui Prefecture, has completely stopped playing karuta. Driven by the strong belief that they will meet Arata again through the game that united them, Chihaya and Taichi decide to start their own karuta club at their high school. This heartfelt movie explores friendship, determination, and the power of shared dreams as these high schoolers strive to revive their passion and reunite with their dear friend.
