Description:

The movie Champion follows Mark, a disgraced arm wrestling champion who was adopted by an American family when he was a boy. Currently working as a club bouncer, Mark befriends Jin Ki, a quick-witted Korean student who always has a scheme to make money. Enticed by Jin Ki's plan to make a fortune at an upcoming arm wrestling tournament in Korea, Mark decides to return to his native country for the first time in thirty years. When they arrive, Jin Ki gives Mark his biological mother's address. Although hesitant at first, Mark visits the address and discovers a sister he never knew existed. Welcomed warmly and embraced by his newfound family, Mark gains a fresh perspective on life. With their support, he prepares himself both mentally and physically to make a powerful mark on the competitive tournament.
