Blue Period introduces Yaguchi Yatora, a brilliant but unmotivated second-year high school student drifting through life. Despite excellent grades and a circle of unambitious friends, Yatora feels a profound void, craving a true purpose. His world shifts dramatically after he beholds the breathtaking landscape of Shibuya. Overwhelmed by an emotion he cannot articulate, he spontaneously takes up a paintbrush, hoping to capture his feelings.
