Description:

Bakuman follows Mashiro Moritaka, also known as Saiko, who possesses superb drawing skills. He is invited by his writing genius classmate Takagi Akito, known as Shujin, to tread the difficult path of becoming a professional mangaka. Teaming up as writer and artist, they aim to get their work serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump, make a hit, and eventually release an anime. This goal is tied to Saiko's naive yet earnest joint dream with Azuki Miho, who is aiming to become a voice actress. Together, Saiko and Shujin bring their manuscripts to editors and set off on the road to becoming pro manga artists. Adapted from the manga series Bakuman written by Ohba Tsugumi and illustrated by Obata Takeshi, this film captures their passionate journey.
