Among them is forty-six-year-old San Liangzi, who divorced his wife twelve years ago and subsequently lost his job. For a decade, San Liangzi has secretly harbored feelings for Wang Meizi, the sole unmarried woman remaining in the area. This moving film delivers a raw and deeply human portrait of survival, longing, and the search for companionship amidst economic decay.
