The youth drama Andante follows the life of Lee Shi Kyung, a slacker city kid played by Kai, who finds his life turned upside down. Alongside his sister Lee Shi Young, played by Lee Ye Hyun, he is suddenly transferred to a high school in the quiet countryside. Unused to the rural lifestyle, the siblings face significant trouble adjusting to their strange and unfamiliar new surroundings. However, their transition is made easier with the help of new companions. They form unexpected bonds with Park Ga Ram, played by Baek Chul Min, who is well-known as the town's golden boy, and Kim Bom, played by Kim Jin Kyung, a mysterious girl.
