In Aibou S13, the Tokumei Gakari, or Special Mission Task Team, is far less prestigious than its name suggests. Positioned at the very bottom of the Metropolitan Police Department, this unit is mockingly referred to as the oversized garbage dealer. Despite the lack of respect, the brilliant and highly independent Ukyo Sugishita heads the team. Using his sharp insights, Ukyo investigates cases on his own, solving complex crimes that belong to the Criminal Division of the MPD, much to their annoyance.
