Description:

In the film A Ghost of a Chance, Emi Hosho, played by Eri Fukatsu, is a not so successful lawyer assigned to a highly unusual case. Her client is accused of murdering his wealthy wife, but his alibi is that he was staying at an inn while suffering from kanashibar sleep paralysis. The only witness who can corroborate this alibi is Rokubei Sarashina, played by Toshiyuki Nishida, a 500-year-old ghost of a Sengoku period military commander who sat on the accused's chest all night long. To investigate further, attorney Emi Hosho travels to the inn. While there, Emi Hosho also falls into kanashibar and discovers the 500-year-old ghost sitting on her chest. Knowing this spirit is the only witness who can support her client's alibi, she grabs his hand and pleads with him to testify in court.
