The mystery thriller movie A Day follows Kim Joon Yeong, a famous thoracic surgeon who struggles to be a good father to his daughter, Eun Jung. On her birthday, tragedy strikes when he witnesses Eun Jung die in a horrific accident right before his eyes. Instantly, Kim Joon Yeong gets trapped in an agonizing time loop, forced to relive the exact same day over and over again without being able to prevent the fatal crash. Just as despair sets in, a man named Lee Min Cheol suddenly appears. Lee Min Cheol also lost his wife in an accident on that very same day and is trapped in the identical loop. While the world around them remains frozen in a repetitive cycle, only these two desperate men retain their memories and change their actions.
