Description:

The comedy movie 8000 Miles follows the hilarious journey of ShoGung, a hip-hop group formed by Saitama rappers Ikku, Mighty, Tom, and three local layabouts. Lacking actual hip-hop knowledge, they hilariously debate whether to adopt an east coast or west coast style despite Saitama having no oceans. The group spends their days in a deserted warehouse, recording freestyle raps to impress a sickly former record producer. However, when they land their very first gig, three members chicken out. This leaves Ikku the NEET, Mighty the farmboy to whom bro stands for broccoli, and Tom the titty bar footstool to pick up the pieces. In a brilliant twist, their big stage turns out to be an afternoon PTA meeting addressing youth issues. Put on the spot as spokesmen for the local youth, the remaining trio must deliver some serious freestyle raps.
